Visitors from all corners of the globe visited the Manroland Sheetfed’s stand from May 31 to June 10 to witness the ROLAND 700 EVOLUTION in operation. With three daily shows and regional events held each evening, the stand was well received by ROLAND customers, old and new.
With a colourful LED curtain showcasing the press, Manroland Sheetfed more than lived up to their ‘We are print’ motto.
The EVOLUTION press featured at drupa was an eight colour double-coater giant running two separate jobs, an LED UV cured print run and a special foiling application. Equipped with a number of InLine systems; cutting edge technology, simultaneous plate changing and a raft of software and design features make it a true leader in its field. Another key strength is that it has what is considered, the lowest waste levels on the market and is so efficient that it can produce runs of 200 as cost effectively as a digital printing.
Available on the stand were print samples printed on the ROLAND EVOLUTION one of the few exhibitors to release real-time samples, bringing to mind the old adage ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’
